I serve organizations across various sectors, such as education, healthcare, finance, law, non-profit, government, and many more, to develop inclusive solutions for their workplaces and service delivery.
My equity, diversity, and inclusion work is informed by my extensive career in human rights law, and helping organizations across Canada, the United States, and South Africa cultivate spaces that are free of discrimination and harassment, where each person is treated with dignity.
I approach all my work through an anti-opression, empathy and trauma-informed lens.

Munim Consulting is named after my grandfather, M. A. Munim. As a young child, he inspired me with his wisdom, creative storytelling, and kind words—he treated all people with gentleness and respect.
After he passed away, in my travels to different parts of the world, I encountered many people who knew him. They all, unanimously, described him as an honourable man who always upheld justice and helped those around him.
During the Partition of India and Pakistan in 1947, he was entrusted by state officials to distribute parcels of land to migrants, for agriculture and residence. He ensured that land was distributed fairly and equally and that no one’s rights were usurped.
According to many sources, he never allotted a single parcel of land for himself, because he wanted to empower the people in his community first (owning land led to having wealth). He was revered by those around him for his honesty, integrity, and trustworthiness.
He won hearts with his kindness and generosity, and he upheld equality and justice long before I entered this world. I am honoured to be his descendant and to carry his name.

I empower people, teams, and organizations to be the best versions of themselves. The best way to advance in equity, diversity, and inclusion work is to stay authentic and true to who you are.
Equity, diversity, and inclusion work is sustainable only if it is built upon principles of equality, respect, and human dignity. By underscoring these core principles in all my work, I empower people to establish sustainable equity, diversity, and inclusion practices.
I am passionate about equity, diversity, and inclusion, and about delivering on my promises. If I am not able to deliver on what you're looking for, I'll let you know. Better yet, I'll do my best to refer you to someone who can deliver on what you're looking for.
If there's something I've been applauded for, it's the quality of my work. I am devoted to offering you a quality experience across my products, services, and interactions.
